Camp Joy: Join Us For A Weekend Where You'll Create Your Very Own Art-Full Joy Journal

Please join us in Magical Union Pier, Michigan for a joyful weekend in community and crafting! We'll gather at the quaint Garden Grove Inn to create our very own art-full joy journals with the most wonderful plethora of mixed media crafting materials.
We'll discuss the abundant benefits of journaling, set intentions for our journals, and chat about current and anticipated joys as we embrace the return to Spring!
We'll take some time to stretch our legs in nature and look to the natural world for joyous inspiration. The weekend will nourish your palette and spirit as we make certain you enjoy delicious meals and delightful camaraderie.
This fun weekend will be lead by Heather Hanson, Union Pier's own Creative Sage. Heather's world is built on the belief that if we choose to embrace and cultivate our own magic, absolutely anything is possible! She's been crafting since she was born, and is in the process of opening a brand new Craft Cottage to bring the magic of embodied creation to Southwest Michigan.
You'll leave from the weekend with a beautiful, art-full journal and the inspiration to fill it with all the joys you find in the world. No creative journaling experience is necessary! You bring an open heart and good intention and we will provide the rest. We look forward to sharing this very joy-full journey with you!

Our Schedule Is As Follows:
Friday
- Arrive as early as 2:00, and preferably by 6:00 pm ET
- Meet your fellow crafters, we'll chat about joy and journaling, set an intention for our creations, and then enjoy a group meal of pizzas and salads
Saturday
- We'll start the day with a light breakfast at 9:00 am, followed by informal conversation, art-full journaling, lunch (sandwiches) around 12:30, an afternoon group walk/hike, more art-full journling, and a group dinner
Sunday
- Enjoy another delicious breakfast, finish and bind your journals, and head out with your joyous creation by 1:00 pm ET
The cost of two nights at the inn for this very special weekend includes your two-night stay, all your meals, and all the materials for your Joy Journal. (Michigan 6% tax is not included)
- Single Occupancy: $670/room for both nights, including all meals & materials
- Double Occupancy: $870/room for both nights, including all meals & materials
